We are happy to show some great pictures of our prototyping platform in action: Our Japanese colleagues at Sevensix Inc. and the University of Saitama have done a great job with Lulu, their latest ultrafast polarization-maintaining mode-locked fiber laser with a programmable optical filter. They used 8photonics’ Fiberspider modular prototyping platform to achieve a very compact and robust system: the Japanese engineers stacked two grids on top of each other.
